In a close game the Chainsaw Proctologists put 6 runs on the scoreboard in the
5th inning and got by the Chicago Colts by the score of 6 to 4.
 
Chainsaw did all of it's offensive work in the 5th inning when they tallied 6
runs on 6 hits.  The highlight belonged to Jason Giambi who made the crowd
happy when he popped a two-run clout over the fence (his 31st of the season).
Tom Gordon was perfect in relief and gained credit for his 8th save.
 
Miguel Batista(10-11) was the winner allowing 4 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings.
Matt Cain(8-10) took the loss.  He gave up 6 runs in 4 and 2/3 innings of
work.  Chainsaw now has a record of 64-70.  With the loss, the Chicago
ballclub's record is 77-57.
